Felicity Nelson, the legendary personality who hosts all of our New Zealand vineyard and winery visitors, is so bubbly and vivacious, she goes by the nickname "Fizz." Our Methode Traditionnelle is a tribute to her individuality, vigor, and quirky sophistication.

Chardonnay from the Castle Cliffs Vineyard in Marlborough's cool Awatere Valley provides elegance, minerality, and pure citrus flavours. The Brooklands and Hay Vineyards - in the heavy clay soils of Marlborough's Southern Valleys - provide depth, structure, and complexity for our Pinot Noir.

An elegant Methode Traditionnelle, with refined lemon, grapefruit, Braeburn apple, and white peach aromas, with gentle brioche complexity. It's taut, crisp, and minerally on the palate, with wonderful finesse and a silken texture through to the long, fine finish.

Food Pairings

Pairs beautifully with smoked salmon served with horseradish and dill.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Copper with hints of gold.

Aroma: Toasty brioche aromas overlaid with delicate citrus fruit.

Palate: The palate has a soft, creamy texture, with good depth of fruit and added complexity from yeast autolysis. A delightfully soft, creamy texture, excellent weight and balance, and refreshing natural acidity which lingers in a crisp, dry finish.
